ROBERT KLEMM – BIOGRAPHY
Robert Klemm has worked his entire life as a professional photographer in Germany and the United States, including 10 years with New York City’s fashion and advertising icons.
Robert relocated from NYC to South Florida in 2000, where he continued to work as a freelance photographer for acclaimed publications including National Geographic, Coral Gables Living, South Florida Magazine, South Beach Magazine, Business Miami Magazine, Attorney-at-Law Magazine, multiple journals of the University of Miami, and various trade publications. His photographic acuity and professionalism captured community, regional and statewide interest.
Robert established successful client relationships with The University of Miami and The City of Coral Gables; numerous law firms and distinguished attorneys, including Richman Greer P.A., Roy Black, and Kendall Coffey; the public accounting firm Kaufman-Rossin; EWM Realty International; Singer Xenos Wealth Management; Coastal Construction Company; and numerous professional associations, including BNI Miami, Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Florida Justice Association, German-American Business Chamber and the Generic Pharmaceutical Association.
Robert’s success stems not only from his keen technical and lighting skills, but especially from his ability to help people to feel relaxed in front of a camera. Robert Klemm is also an accomplished Fine Art Photographer and has produced over 30 fine art exhibits in Germany and the United States, including the Nikon Gallery and Aperture Magazine in New York City. He has earned recognition for his mystical black and white images, and his romantic images of Coral Gables Florida are featured in a permanent exhibit in Coral Gables City Hall since the mid-1990s. Robert was honored to be selected for the Coral Gables Museum’s first photography exhibition. His popular “coffee table” book, Landscapes of Coral Gables,” is a South Florida icon.

Robert was also a popular event photographer. His images include famed jazz and classical musicians and singers featured during the Summer Concert Series at Coral Gables Congregational Church, and musical theatre productions by The Gold-Diggers, Inc., at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Miami.
In 2017, Robert and his wife relocated to Greenville, South Carolina to continue his life and career in this vibrant and beautiful environment. His photography work now focuses on Fine Art and travel photography in the U.S and Europe, especially in Italy. Robert recently became a professional “storyteller” through his new book, written as a result of his part-time job in a supermarket on the front lines of COVID-19.
